Jerry Krist

Jerry, as the founding lead coach and mentor for FRC Team 1792, leverages his twelve years of experience with FIRST alongside over thirty years in customer service, logistics, and inventory management. In his FIRST Wisconsin role he is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation and storage of all FIRST Wisconsin assets, as well as overseeing the operation of FRC and FTC competitions across the state. As a United States Navy veteran, he is well-versed in the "Zero Fail" mission required to put on a qualifying or state-level event. Additionally, as the proud father of two FIRST alumni, he possesses direct experience regarding the positive impact this program can have on all of its participants.
