The stage is set… after hosting nine FIRST Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournaments, two scrimmages, and experiencing one weather-related date change, FIRST Wisconsin has twenty-eight FIRST Tech Challenge Teams advancing to the State Championship on Saturday, March 2nd at the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Kern Center. From precision-engineered robots to strategic maneuvers, witness the intensity of the competition as these young minds go head-to-head in a battle of wits and engineering prowess.

This season's competition CENTERSTAGE℠ presented by RTX, debuted September 9, 2023, as part of the 2023-2024 FIRST® IN SHOW℠ season presented by Qualcomm. Our Wisconsin students used their STEM skills to compete in a one-of-a-kind art-inspired robotics season that shined a spotlight on the role STEM skills play in the arts and design world. This year, each one of our 84 Wisconsin-based FIRST Tech Challenge teams raised the curtain on how design, creativity, and precision played a role in creating art and experiences that bring us together, entertain us, and move us.
This action-packed event isn’t just for tech enthusiasts – it’s a celebration of STEAM brilliance that promises entertainment for all ages. Explore cutting-edge robotics exhibits, cheer for your favorite teams, and experience the thrill of witnessing futuristic technology in action. The FIRST Tech Challenge Wisconsin State Championship is not just a competition; it’s an immersive journey into the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Thank you to all of our FIRST Wisconsin partners that make this program possible!
Congratulations to the twenty-eight teams who will compete on Saturday, March 2nd for one of two Wisconsin advancement spots to the 2024 FIRST® Championship presented by BAE Systems and taking place April 17th - 20th in Houston, TX.
